Description

Leave No Trace Awareness Workshop

If you enjoy camping or spending time in the outdoors, this workshop will get you up to date on Leave No Trace principles to help you leave the wilderness as pristine as you found it. Leave No Trace wilderness ethics serve as universal guidelines for outdoorspeople to follow in order to protect our outdoor spaces from the negative impacts that human use can create. You will learn how to travel, camp, and enjoy the woods with minimum impact. This workshop is instructed by Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers, who are experts in wilderness ethics. Whether you are a day hiker, backpacker, paddler, or you just love the outdoors, this course is for you. This event is free and open to the public, no fees or memberships required!
