General enough to be applicable for all Hoofer club leaders or outdoor recreation organization leaders, this short in-person training will introduce leadership principles, discuss expectations, and establish trip leader standards for Hoofer leaders looking to take their leadership to the next level.
Upon completion of this class, participants will:
- Brainstorm expectations for the Trip Leader role
- Establish standards and norms
- Discuss essential leadership skills and where they show up in the Trip Leader role
- Identify individual leadership strengths and areas for growth

- If there is not adequate enrollment 48 hours prior to this event, this event may be canceled. If the course is canceled by Outdoor UW, enrolled participants will receive an email notification and full refunds will be issued. Refunds will not be issued if participants cancel within 24 hours of the event.
